Magnificent house of worship built on the site of many churches renowned for the frequency of their miracles since 1658. Architecture worthy of the greatest European churches. Decorated with beautiful stained-glass windows and mosaics. One of the most important pilgrimage sites in Quebec; millions have visited the Basilica to pay homage to St. Anne. In July, thousands of devout Christians from across Canada celebrate a novena and the feast of St. Anne (July 26). Museums and shops located near this famous sanctuary in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré.

A work of art over 100 years old that was created by a master painter in Munich and later toured the capital cities of Europe before being installed in this round building near St. Anne’s Basilica The Cyclorama is an enormous, 360-degree painting of the crucifixion of Christ in Jerusalem. It is the world’s largest panorama painting, measuring 110 m (363’) in diameter and 14 m (46’) high. Thousands have come to admire this impressive work of art every year since 1895. An elevated walkway allows you to see the details of the painting up close.

Tour the vineyard of this courageous wine producer who does not fear early frosts or the harsh Quebec climate. His white wine is of the highest quality; the first bottles produced in 2001. Established in an authentic mill dating back to 1695, the vineyard gift shop offers a wide selection of homemade products from local farms.


Beaupré Coast Interpretation Centre

Housed in the former Château-Richer convent, the interpretation centre also features archeological evidence of a mill dating back to the time of the French Regime. Permanent and temporary exhibits. Learn about the history of the Beaupré Coast, site of the earliest settlements in New France.
