Sea or White-water Kayaking
You can get your feet wet (!) sea or white-water kayaking only a few
minutes away from the Val-des-Neiges Hotel. Lessons, experienced guides
and equipment rental provided by the Échohamok white-water
kayaking and canoeing club in Beaupré.
Rafting
Climb aboard a mini-raft and travel down the “secret river”
in Saint-Féréol-les-Neiges, a little-known but turbulent
section of the Sainte-Anne-du-Nord River near Mont-Sainte-Anne. The
mini-raft is a revolutionary form of water craft that turns the sport
of rafting on its ear! Imagine shooting through the rapids aboard
a two-person, entirely submersible raft that is, thankfully, also
self-bailing…
Sail Boarding
Hop on your sailboard and race over the water between the flats near
the Beaupré Coast and Île d’Orléans. Magnificent
view of Mont-Sainte-Anne and the mountains in the Charlevoix region.
No maritime traffic to worry about, though if you are out early in
the morning, you may see the catamaran the Famille Dufour II en route
to a whale-watching
cruise near Tadoussac.
